Beef & Giardiniera Calzone

I had a couple different things from there. But the beed calzone was my favorite. So meaty n juicey and just plan o good.

Cheese Pizza

One of the best Tavern Pizzas in the area....the sauce has a slightly sweet taste and the sausage and vegetables were flavorful and fresh. Nice crispy crust held everything together beautifully..,,definitely worth coming back. A hidden gem...

$10 One Topping Pizza - Monday Only!

I grew up in Summit and haven't had Chester's in a long time. I tried it again recently and was blown away. I'm not lying when I say it's now my favorite pizza. I happened to get it on special on a Monday, but I'll order it any day of the week as their prices are fantastic. I can't wait to try their other food now too as I'm sure it's all great! When you get it, order it well done. The crust is crispy and thin (but not too thin, just right). The cheese is a perfect golden brown and the ingredients are cooked to perfection. Some places put too many toppings or too little. Chester's has the perfect ratio and amount of ingredients and quite frankly, has perfected the Tavern style pizza if you ask me. They should pop up first in any search of Chicago Style Tavern Pizza because there's non better. You'll see what I mean when you try it if you haven't already. Super friendly staff and the wait isn't long at all--even on a Monday. So I highly recommend you go there any day of the week, bring some friends and/or family along, order a pizza and some appetizers, have a few drinks, and I guarantee you you'll be back every week. I know I will. Bravo, Chester's!

Italian Beef & Sausage Bowl

The Italian beef and sausage bowl is delicious for people who don't want bread! The mix of sweet and hot peppers and mozzarella is phenomenal!! Add some red sauce for a little extra umph!

I ordered pepperoni pizza and it was the absolute best tavern style pizza I have had. The thin crust is light and crispy. It had the right amount of cheese pepperoni and sauce.
